Though capable of shredding credit cards, it is not recommended to do so on a quarterly basis. The motor should not be used to shred more than one or two credit cards at a time as the motor struggles with the weight of the cards.
Although the P58-Cs is a cross cut shredder and is more gather than a comparable strip cut model, organizations with very sensitive facts may want to reconsider upgrading to a micro cut paper shredder to growth security.
